Weather Forecast: Winter Storm Warnings For the Mountains
Redding, Chico & Red Bluff
The back side of the winter storm continues to push into the Northstate. Expect another shot of mountain snow showers and valley rain overnight and into the afternoon Wednesday.
Snow levels continue to hover around 1000ft with a little bit of snow mixing in down to Redding.
We will continue to see several weaker impulses of energy push through the Northstate all the way into Wednesday afternoon.
Thursday we will look forward to mostly sunny skies with highs near 50 degrees.
Friday night and into Saturday's system continues to through a few questions into the forecast as it will dive south right along the coast. It may be close enough to bring mountain snow showers and valley rain to the Northstate.
Heading into the New Year we stay dry and quiet with highs in the mid 50s for the valley.
