Weather Forecast: Winter Weather Advisory For Trinity County Above 2500ft
Redding, Chico & Red Bluff
Mostly sunny ahead of the next cold front today. The Northcoast along with Trinity and Siskiyou county will start to see precipitation by midnight tonight.
We’ll be between cold fronts today and it will be a dry day for everyone without much change in our temperatures struggling to get out of the 50’s once again in the valley under partly cloudy skies.
By late tonight and into Thursday the next storm will arrive and all of us will see a chance for showers and as the cold front passes there may even be enough instability for a few isolated thunderstorms. Behind the cold front will be cooler temperatures and fairly low snow levels dropping to as low as 2000 feet. That being said, we’re not expecting much rain or snow for that matter but could create a few problems on some of the higher elevation mountain passes.
Behind Thursday’s storm will be cold and unstable air on Friday which could mean a chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms. A lot can happen between now and then so we’ll keep you updated through the week.
