Sunny skies remain tomorrow, gusty winds coming on Monday.
The ridge that brought us the beautiful weather today will hang around for tomorrow as well. But the center of the high is on the move and tomorrow we’ll see it drift just to our east. That will switch the winds around to the south and increase them during the afternoon. Those winds won’t stay in that direction for long though, they’ll switch to the north Monday morning after a frontal passage. The front won’t bring much by way of any moisture, just a few sprinkles to our west and some early morning clouds in the valley.
Monday and Tuesday will get more clear skies, but will also have the gusty north winds. I wouldn’t be surprised if the NWS puts out a wind advisory for the valley for that period. Highs will stay in the low to mid 70s those days despite the gusty north winds. The rest of the week we’ll see temperatures in the low to mid 70s as well with off and on gusty winds as successive fronts pass through the NorthState. Those fronts won’t have any moisture with them, but they won’t bring any rain to the state through the rest of the week.
