Chilly morning this Sunday, but a wonderful afternoon to come.
Temperatures will rise steadily today as clear skies and generally light winds affect the NorthState. When they’re all done rising those highs will peak in the upper 70s to low 80s which is pretty nice for this time of year. Highs will go even farther into the 80s Monday and Tuesday and some people could see highs around 85° or so come Tuesday evening.
Clouds start to move in on Wednesday as an upper level cutoff low starts to drift overhead. The center of the low will actually move over the San Joaquin valley and will only bring a couple showers to the Sierra Crest and near Tahoe. Those showers will be scattered and generally light in nature and won’t make it down from the mountains. The rest of us will see a mix of sun and clouds from Wednesday on but won’t see any rain. Temperatures will also cool slightly but we’ll stay in the mid to upper 70s for the most part through Friday.
