It will be cool and unsettled this week with a chance for thunderstorms, gusty winds at times and lowering snow levels.
The cool and unsettled weather we have been talking about since last week has arrived and will stick around at least through this weekend if not longer.
We can expect off and on showers today through Wednesday with a chance for isolated thunderstorms. We may see brief periods of moderate to heavy rain, small hail, lightning and gusty winds.
It looks like we will see a break from the rain on Thursday before more wet weather returns Friday and lasts at least through the weekend and most likely into next week.
Snow levels will start off above 7,000 feet today dropping to as low as 4,000 feet by Friday. The main impact will be travel over some of the higher mountain passes.
