More rain to start your work week.

Another batch of rain is moving in off the ocean and will arrive just in time for the evening commute tomorrow.  Monday morning won’t be anything too great either, lots of clouds and puddles to make you want to stay in bed, but some parts of the state will still be getting rain which is always liked.  Our afternoon rain should start around 1pm for most areas and is brought to us by a weak cold front attached to a system to our north.  There could be a few thunderstorms embedded in the front, but most of us will see light rain with pockets of moderate and even some heavy rain.

That’s the first batch.  The second batch comes after Tuesday clears out to be generally a very nice day, Wednesday starts in with the rain again.  Wednesday’s system looks to be a little more energetic and will carry a bit more moisture with it.  It won’t be a deluge, but some areas in the mountains might see up to an inch of rain on Wednesday.

After that things take a sunnier and drier turn as high pressure starts to build back in.  Thursday we’ll jump into upper 60s for high temperatures, and Friday and Saturday most of the valley will be firmly in the 70s and will round out an awesome way to end the week.  After that an additional front drops into NorCal on Sunday bringing another bout of rain.
