High pressure keeps skies clear and temperatures warm.
Our area of high pressure has allowed a few high level clouds to filter through, but otherwise we’ll see the temperatures remain warm. Highs will remain about 10° above normal for the rest of the week and through the weekend. Friday the winds will increase, but they won’t be crazy gusty, just increasing to about 10mph in the valley. There really isn’t much change in the forecast, just a slight warming trend this weekend where highs will increase into the mid to upper 70s for the valley.
Our next shot for rain comes next Wednesday when a system will move in. Right now it’s looking promising, but the storm is still about 7-8 days out and the models have been slowly degrading the potency of the other promising storms that have shown up. We’ll keep a close eye on it and let you know of any changes.
