  • ...Cool and showery weather for Memorial Day continuing into week... A disturbance moving into the West Coast early on Memorial Day will bring cool and unsettled weather to the interior of northern California for the Memorial Day Holiday. A chance of showers across the area continues through the middle of next week and possibly beyond as additional disturbances move through. Daytime high temperatures will be around 10 degrees below normal on Memorial Day then gradually warm through the week...but still remaining below normal through the week. Hikers...backpackers and other outdoor enthusiasts are advised to be prepared for the much cooler and more unsettled weather for early next week. Conditions may be quite wet at times... especially in the northern Sierra Nevada. Snow levels will remain high but some accumulation is likely across the higher peaks. Jclapp
