Here comes the sun, just in time for the weekend.
High pressure sets up just off the coast today and will clear out almost all the clouds we’ve seen over the past couple days. As the clouds clear the temperatures will rise. Today we’ll see highs into the 70s and tomorrow we’ll get up near 80°. That will offset our much cooler days earlier this week by being about 10-15° above average whereas Wednesday-Friday we were about 10-15° below average.
The rest of the week will bring another weak system our way, but it won’t really bring any chance for rain. The best it’ll do is bring some high level clouds and increase the winds a bit. That’s late week as a cutoff low tries to form off the coast but is brought onshore, negating its normal blocking effects.
