Skies have cleared and the sun is back for a good while.
High pressure will build in today. We’ll still see some residual clouds but they’ll be thinning through the afternoon. With the sunshine temperatures will quickly rise into the low 60s. The speed that the temperature fell last night makes me think that our forecast high might be a little conservative. The rain did much less to dampen (pun intended) the diurnal temperature variability than expected. That means that our temperature changes will likely be somewhere around 30-35° this afternoon.
Later in the week temperatures will continue to rise. We’ll see highs right around 70° from Monday all the way through Friday of next week. High pressure will make sure to keep all the clouds away and is even fighting to eradicate an indicated pattern shift that was showing earlier in the week.
