Another warm sunny day in northern California, but rain will come this week.
Temperatures will peak in the mid 70s once again today with clear skies and calm winds. Tomorrow will be much the same but temperatures will be a degree or two cooler because of encroaching high clouds from the west. Those clouds are attached to a strong system in the middle of the pacific ocean which is headed our way. The storm will generally miss northern California but is potent enough to bring rain showers on both Tuesday and Wednesday and even some showery activity on Thursday too. We could get about an inch of rain out of it all when thing wrap up on Thursday afternoon.
There is more coming after the storm departs. Another batch of systems are lining up in the pacific and will be rolling our way. I’m not expecting a huge amount of stormy weather, but there is the shot at some more rain coming Sunday into Monday and beyond that as well. We’ll keep you posted as things develop.
