Monsoon moisture and a couple of disturbances will continue to bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms today.  Our next heat wave begins to build in by Thursday and Friday.

We have a cold front out ahead of our trough, parked on and just offshore of the Northcoast.  We also have an upper level low moving north from out of the Bay Area.  Add monsoon moisture and we'll see the chance for more showers and thunderstorms today.

Once the trough begins to move ashore tomorrow this will help to kick the monsoon moisture out of the Northstate.

The next ridge of high pressure builds in from out of the Desert Southwest and will be centered just off to our east heading into the weekend.  Expect triple digits in the valley Friday into the weekend with the return of monsoonal moisture by Sunday into Monday.
