Thursday was another mild summer day in the Northstate with temperatures about 10 degrees below normal for this time of year.  The trough of low pressure responsible for this cooler weather is moving out and high pressure is slowly building in behind it.

By Friday it will be around 90 degrees in the valley climbing to 100 degrees by Sunday. The heat wave doesn't end there because we are expecting highs between 103 and 108 degrees on Monday and Tuesday of next week.  Although we are expecting a drop in our temperatures Wednesday and Thursday it will still be around 100 degrees.
