The last push of moisture moved through Thursday evening giving some of us periods of heavy rain. Some places only saw a few hundredths of an inch of rain as expected but Anderson was able to pick up between a quarter to close to a half of an inch. Shingletown recorded about an inch of rain with a report of a brief power outage in Shasta Forest Village.
There may be a few isolated showers in the mountains on Friday, otherwise, it will be a dry and mild day for the rest of us.
High pressure will start to build back over the Northstate this weekend with highs in the mid 70s on Saturday and mid 80s by Sunday. The warming trend will continue into next week with highs in the low to mid 90s by Tuesday and Wednesday.
