Monsoon moisture continues to move into the Northstate today.  This mid level moisture will increase our chance of mountain thunderstorms this week.

Forecast models continue to keep the mid level moisture around through Friday, though shifting the bulk of it off to the north into Siskiyou and Modoc County.

With daytime heating we'll see the atmosphere destabilize and thunderstorms will likely develop.   The National Weather Service has issued RED FLAG WARNING (click for details)

Forecast models are developing a weak trough of low pressure with an embedded disturbance to move in Saturday and Sunday.  This may help to kick up some more thunderstorms and also drop afternoon highs back into the 90s for the valley floor.
