It has been fairly active for parts of the Northstate the last few days but as the area of low pressure slowly moves to the south our chances for thunderstorms begin to diminish.  There will be a continued chance  for thunderstorms on Wednesday  in the Sierra but the rest of us will be dry under mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 80s.

Thursday through the weekend will be even warmer with highs in the low 90s under mainly sunny skies.  At this point the long range forecast models are not picking up on much in the way of rain but we’re also not expecting any major heat waves either.
