Unseasonably warm weather has arrived in the Northstate with day number two of 90 degree heat in the valley. Orland and Oroville were the only two places that broke their record highs both topping out at 93 on Wednesday. We can expect more of the same on Thursday with highs once again in the low 90s under sunny skies.
The ridge of high pressure will start to break down through the weekend allowing our temperatures to drop back down to the low 80s by Saturday and low 70s on Sunday. We’ll keep it in the 70s through most of next week which is actually normal for this time of year. The next chance for rain is on Sunday and Monday with an off chance for an isolated thunderstorm or two.
