The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the mountains east of the valley until 11:00 Saturday morning.  This will have an impact on your mountain travel so be sure to take the necessary precautions.  There is also a Frost Advisory in Trinity County through early Saturday morning as temperatures could drop down into the upper 20s and low 30s.

After a fairly active day on Friday we are gong to experience a much quieter weekend.  We'll start things of dry on Saturday with increasing clouds and cool to mild temperatures.  Another weak disturbance will move through  the Northstate Saturday night into early Sunday morning giving us a chance for isolated showers.  We'll continue with a chance for isolated showers/sprinkles throughout the day on Sunday.

High pressure will return next week with temperatures back in the 80s by Tuesday and we could even be flirting with the 90s by Wednesday.
