It will be another warm and dry day on Saturday before the next storm arrives on Sunday.  We’ll start the day on Saturday with clear skies eventually giving way to mostly cloudy skies by the evening.  The leading edge of the rain may arrive as soon as Saturday night and lasting through the day on Sunday.  We’re also reaching that time of year that when a cold front moves through we can’t rule out the chance for isolated thunderstorms as well.  There may be a few lingering showers on Monday but the main storm will move through on Sunday.

High pressure builds back over the Northstate through most of next week keeping us under mostly sunny skies with dry conditions.  A look at the long range forecast models doesn’t look all that promising for much more rain in the next two weeks.  We can only hope this will change in the next few model runs.
