Gusty winds will pick up for the valley Wednesday and begin to relax by Thursday evening. Another low pressure system this weekend, could bring a chance of thunderstorms to the Northstate.
Expect the strongest winds Wednesday into Thursday as the low departs to our east.
The rest of the week is dominated by the upper level trough but highs will start to climb back into the upper 80s to near 90° by the weekend. As the trough axis rolls overhead Friday into Saturday there is the chance for some mountain thunderstorms on Friday and on Saturday there’s a shot for some to meander into the valley as well. We’ll be sure to keep a close eye on anything as it develops.
