As some cold and unstable air moves into the Northstate there will be a chance for showers and isolated thunderstorms through Tuesday morning.  The bulk of the colder air behind the cold front will be off to our east by the afternoon so the chances for thunderstorms will be slimmer by then. Snow levels are expected to be between 4000 and 5000 feet with only a few inches possible down to 5000 feet.

We’ll keep things fairly unsettled Wednesday and Thursday with a slight chance for isolated showers on both days before the next storm arrives Thursday night into Friday.  This will bring us another chance for showers and thunderstorms.

High pressure builds baclk over the Northstate by the second half of the weekend giving us warmer and drier conditions.
