Winds will continue to relax through the rest of Friday for the Northstate. Valley afternoon highs will remain in the low to mid 70s through Sunday.
In case you were wondering about the haze, it is actually from blowing dust in the mountains. The dust was picked up by the high winds yesterday and carried over parts of the Northstate including the valley.

Just in the last 18 hours, the GFS forecast model began trending much wetter with Tuesday morning's cold front. At this moment it is the only model showing this wetter solution. So for now we'll keep an eye on it. IF it continues to trend wet then we'll add mountain, foothill and maybe even valley rain to the forecast for next Tuesday.
