Tuesday was once again a day filled with sunny skies and above average temperatures.  The Delta Breeze backed off in Chico and Red Bluff allowing it to warm up a bit.

High pressure will be the dominant feature the rest of week, however, we are tracking an area of low pressure that is expected to break off from the jet stream and undercut the ridge.  The low is not expected to move through the Northstate but it will move close enough to give us some passing high clouds and slightly cooler temperatures by Friday and lasting into the weekend.

We’re also tracking a trough of low pressure that will dig into the Great Basin to our east and based on this track it wouldn’t bring us any rain but cooler temperatures and gusty north winds.  We’ll keep you posted.
