A low pressure system to our northeast will help keep the valley 3-5 degrees cooler today compared to Thursday.  Highs will warm back closer to normal Saturday.

We are tracking a trough of low pressure digging over the Pacific Northwest which will allow our temperatures to drop a few degrees once again before we see a gradual increase starting this weekend.

A weak ridge of high pressure has its eyes on Northern California and even though we don't expect to see any triple digits it will warm back up to the upper 90s in Redding and Red Bluff by Tuesday and Wednesday of next week while Chico will be closer to the low 90s.
