Valley highs will once again warm to the low to mid 80s this afternoon. There is a slight chance of a few pop showers and isolated mountain thunderstorms by Friday afternoon.
Though we're expecting any activity that may develop to be isolated and mainly west of the valley floor.
The ridge will stay in place through this weekend, keeping the valley in the 80s for afternoon highs.
A deep trough will begin to dive down from the Gulf of Alaska by next Tuesday/Wednesday. The deeper and further southeast it tracks the better chances of seeing precipitation by the middle to late parts of next work week for the Northstate.
