Valley afternoon highs will warm to the upper 70s today, under mostly sunny skies.  A weak system will bring a chance of showers to the Northstate Thursday.

We are tracking another weak storm moving through the Pacific Northwest and clipping the Northstate.  There will be more clouds, cooler temperatures and gusty south winds on Thursday with a chance for showers by the late afternoon hours into the evening before we dry things out by Friday.

An "inside slider" will clip the Northstate Saturday night, which will help to ramp up the north winds into Sunday.

Models continue to develop a very strong ridge building in early next week.  If some trends hold, we could see a few spots warm to the mid to upper 90s by next Wednesday.
