Many valley locations will warm to 90 degrees this afternoon, for the first time since October.  Afternoon highs will cool heading into the weekend.

A high amplitude ridge of high pressure will continue to build over the Northstate and the West Coast.  Highs will warm to near 90 for the valley floor.

Wednesday and Thursday valley high should peak a little warmer, with a few isolated spots near the mid 90s.

The ridge will begin to get squashed by a trough Friday night into Saturday but highs will still warm to the 80s.  This same trough will help to cool highs back into the 70s by Sunday and Monday.  It may also be able to tap into enough moisture for showers Sunday into Monday but looks like mainly a mountain event at the moment.
