It looks like our temperatures will go on a small roller coaster ride the next seven days with highs averaging in the mid 90s through the middle of next week.  Redding and Red Bluff will hover right around 100 degrees once again on Thursday and Chico will top out in the mid 90s.

The remnants of Hurricane Marie are expected to move over the Northstate on Friday but all we can expected is high and mid level clouds along with slightly cooler temperatures.  Unfortunately, it just doesn't look like we'll be able to squeeze any rain from the clouds.

The sunny skies will return Labor Day Weekend with highs in the low to mid 90s for Chico and mid to upper 90s in Redding.
