Rain chances increase as we head into the afternoon. Moisture moves in from the west and a stray thunderstorm or two may make it down into the valley. If one does, it will mainly be for areas north of Red Bluff. Better shower chances are going to be in the higher elevation spots west of I-5, then in the mountains to the east later on tonight.

We're left with a little cloud cover tomorrow, highs will generally be in the 70s and 80s.

Warmer air moves in by Friday and triple digits are back by the end of the weekend.
