Showers continue to move in and out of the Northstate today along with gusty south and southeast winds.

The heaviest line came through in the 7:00 am hour this morning with pockets of heavy rain in the northern tip of the valley.  A steady rain with pockets of moderate to heavy rain are possible.

Rain will begin to break apart tonight and into Tuesday morning.  We may see enough clearing to get some sun back into the Northstate Tuesday.  Highs should finally rebound back into the 60s.

The next cold front swings in Wednesday.  Expect precipitation to move into Trinity county by mid morning and rain near the valley by the late morning hours.  Most models end the rain by early Thursday morning.  Clearing should bring the sun back in by Thursday afternoon.

The Northstate will stay dry and mild through Saturday before another front approaches the Northstate Sunday.
