The NWS has issued a Red Flag Warning for the valley floor through 8:00 pm Thursday. The main threat is gusty north winds and low relative humidity values.
North winds should begin to relax for the valley floor by Thursday evening.
Afternoon highs will also recover to near 90 degrees Thursday.
Our next low pressure system has been tracking slightly weaker over the last 24 hours. We are now thinking this will mainly be a mountain event, with a chance for scattered thunderstorms Saturday afternoon evening.
