With monsoon moisture still in place, the foothills and mountains will have another chance for thunderstorms today.  With clearer skies today, the northern valley can expect warmer afternoon highs compared to Tuesday.

The clouds are expected to move out Wednesday and the triple digits will return at least in Redding and Red Bluff while Chico will be closer to the upper 90s.  There will be a slight cooling trend after that dropping to the upper 90s on Friday and Saturday for Redding and Red Bluff.  Chico will drop to the low to mid 90s.
