A deep marine layer (fog) along the coast contributed to another Delta Breeze event helping to keep the valley temperatures below normal.  It was also a quiet day on Wednesday in the mountains without any threats of lightning.  The valley will continue to see below average temperatures through at least the first part of the weekend before we see a gradual increase in our highs.

Highs will average in the mid 90s for Redding and Red Bluff through Monday while Chico and Oroville will be closer to the low 90s.  We will be closer to 100 degrees by the middle of next week.
