The Delta Breeze will be slightly weaker today allowing the valley to warm 3-5 degrees warmer compared to Wednesday.

Most locations today will warm to the near normal for this time of the year with valley highs in the low to mid 90s this afternoon.

A trough diving into the Great Basin tomorrow will be close enough to drop afternoon highs back to the 80s and low 90s for the valley on Friday.   Winds will pick up along the crest out of the west and shift to out of the north as the jet streak slides through northeastern parts of the Northstate late Friday night.

The surface gradient will not be that tight Saturday morning but upper level support will allow for a northerly breeze Saturday morning for the western side of the valley.

Winds should relax through Saturday afternoon into Sunday.

Models are are still all over the place for next week.  One forecast run a ridge is modeled to move in and the next a trough moves in.  For now we'll continue to trend towards warmer weather but the forecast could chance as we get closer to next week.
