As high pressure builds back over the Northstate on Monday the mid 70's will return threatening our records once again.

We'll see another slight drop in our temperatures as an area of low pressure rides over the ridge of high pressure and rides to the south into Southern California.  The main concern will be the strong north winds this pattern will generate.  With an already dry climate this will only increase our fire danger even more.  The winds should arrive as early as Wednesday and may last into next Saturday with temperatures in the upper 60's and low 70's.

Although the long range forecast models are starting to show signs of wet weather moving in near the end of the month into early February we can't get our hopes up just yet.  We have seen this in the last few weeks only to be disappointed in the end.  We'll keep watching very closely and keep you posted while crossing our fingers for the more favorable outcome.
