High pressure will be the dominant feature throughout the weekend with highs expected to be in the low to mid 80s under mainly sunny skies.
High pressure will start to slowly break down next week allowing our temperatures to slowly drop. We’ll be in the upper 70s to low 80s on Monday and Tuesday dropping to the low 70s by Wednesday. As far as the long range goes it all depends on which forecast model you look at. The American model (GFS) has been the most bullish with the rain next week but has recently backed down a bit holding off until the end of next week into that weekend. The European model has been keeping most of the rain to our north and continues to do so.
For now I’m going to keep the forecast mainly dry through next week with just a slight chance for a few isolated showers near the end of next week but at this point I wouldn’t count on much if anything at all.
