Although the temperatures have dropped slightly over the last few days the triple digits can be expected through next week in Redding and Red Bluff.  Chico should stay below 100 through Saturday with highs in the mid to upper 90s before the triple digits return once again next week.

Thursday will be the last day for any chances for mountain thunderstorms but those chances are expected to be much smaller than what we saw on Tuesday and Wednesday.

We don't expect any more thunderstorm activity for the Fourth of July but the long range forecast models are bringing in some monsoon moisture next week which means a chance for more mountain thunderstorms.
