Monsoon moisture continues to be locked into the Northstate, bringing another round of mountain showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. The valley can expect upper 90s to near 105 today.
RED FLAG WARNINGS in place for Modoc & Siskiyou County.
We expect more of the same the rest of the work week and even into the weekend with highs in the upper 90s to just over 100 degrees in the valley and a continued chance for mountain thunderstorms. Some of the forecast models are giving the valley a slight chance for a few showers as well especially on Thursday. At this point I wouldn't count on much if anything at all but it will be something worth watching.
