We saw much warmer weather on Tuesday as expected as high pressure returned to the Northstate.  We expect more of the same on Wednesday and Thursday with highs right around 100 for Redding and Red Bluff while Chico will be closer to the mid 90s.

We are still tracking Hurricane Marie, however, it looks like any chances for rain have been removed from the forecast.  A trough of low pressure will approach from the Gulf of Alaska on Friday and will tap into the remnants of Marie but it looks like the main impacts will be cooler temperatures and high clouds.  The clouds will move out by Saturday with highs generally in the low to mid 90s through the beginning of next week.
