Valley highs will once again warm to the triple digits this afternoon, with the northern tip reaching 105 degrees.  Mountain showers and thunderstorms will also develop this afternoon and evening.

Siskyou and Modoc Counties are under a Red Flag Warnings once again from 2pm until 11pm Thursday with a continued chance for mountain thunderstorms.   Keep in mind, even though Trinity, Lassen and Plumas Counties are not under any watches or warnings there is still a chance for thunderstorms in these areas.

The triple digit heat is expected to last through most of next week with off and on mountain thunderstorms.  Forecast models are showing drier air moving in by this weekend, which should lower chances of mountain thunderstorms.
