The western and northern valley warm to and above 100 degree this afternoon.  Expect triple digit highs to stick around through next work week.

Not all of us in the valley are expected to reach 100 today, Redding and Red Bluff will most likely reach the century mark.  Chico and Oroville will most likely just be able to dodge the triple digits.

Breezy north winds will quickly drop off by the late morning hours.

The heat will stick around through most of next week before we see another slight drop in our temperatures. We may also see more monsoon moisture work its way up the Sierra for more mountain thunderstorms next week.
