We’ve got another cold storm moving through the Northstate giving us another round of much needed rain and snow as low as 2000 to 2500 feet. The National Weather Service has issued Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories for most of the mountain regions through Tuesday morning. Click here for the latest details.
Even though we will be under the influence of an unsettled weather pattern this week with a mixture of sun, clouds and isolated showers the heaviest rain will be today. That being said, there is also a chance for isolated thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday. Areas that get caught under one of these thunderstorms could see brief periods of heavy rain, lightning, gusty winds and hail.
Look for partly to mostly cloudy skies on Thursday and Friday with just a slight chance for a few isolated sprinkles/light showers. The weekend looks dry with warmer temperatures under mostly sunny skies.
