A weak disturbance off to the northeast will help to pick up our north winds tonight and the first half of Saturday.  Valley highs back into the mid to upper 70s this weekend.

The next chance of rain arrives Tuesday and into Wednesday.  The majority if not all of the rain that falls on Tuesday will stay in the mountains to the west of the valley floor.  However as the trough digs into the Northstate rain should begin to move through the entire Northstate.

The good thing is this will not be the only rain maker next week.  Another storm system by next Friday continues to show in forecast models.  Even after that storm models continue to keep an active pattern over Northern California.
