Valley afternoon highs will once again range between 10-20 degrees above normal Sunday.
Besides a few extra high level clouds, Sunday will be very similar to Saturday. You can expect highs in the low 70s, after a chilly start.
A weak system will move through the Northstate Wednesday. Forecast models are beginning to show the cut-off low moving north of the Northstate. Once near the Great Basin, models retrograde the low southwest over the Sierra and take it south into Southern California, while a high builds to the northwest. IF this were to happen we could expect gusty winds for the valley, foothills and mountains Thursday-Saturday.
Some good news.... Models are now beginning to trend wet in about 8 to 9 days. This of course is very far out but is about the wettest I've seen models trend in quite some time. For now we'll have to wait, watch and HOPE!!
