A weak area of low pressure will move through the Northstate on Friday giving the mountains a chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms once again.  At this point it looks like all of the activity will be in the mountains and it should remain dry in the valley with partly cloudy skies.

The weekend looks warm with highs in the low to mid 90s under sunny skies.  A trough of low pressure will move through the Pacific Northwest and clip Northern California next week allowing our temperatures to drop back down to the 80s by Tuesday of next week.

The long range forecast models are not giving us any hope for much rain in the next few weeks.  We’re also not expecting any major heat waves either with highs generally in the 80s and 90s under mostly sunny skies.
