Yesterday's low pressure system is quickly heading off to the east, allowing for high pressure to build back in.  High pressure building in will allow for warmer afternoon highs and gusty north winds today.

Gusts will peak just over 30 mph today for the valley floor with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Wednesday valley highs will approach 80 degrees with lighter winds.

Another weak system will move in Thursday afternoon and into the overnight hours into Friday morning.  We will once again see the threat of showers down to the valley floor.  Since there will be no cold pool aloft with this system, thunderstorms should not be a threat.

The next system to keep a close eye on will be a potential "inside slider" Saturday night and into Sunday.  Some forecast models have actually trended strong with this system, which would bring in gusty north winds Sunday.
