Gusty north winds were the biggest headline Tuesday with gusts between 20 and 30 mph in the valley.  It was also much cooler than normal with temperatures only reaching the low 80s.  The normal for this time of year is 90 degrees.

High pressure will build back over the Northstate starting Wednesday allowing our temperatures to get closer to normal for this time of year.  On average we expect our highs to hover between the low to mid 90s through the beginning of next week.

The long range forecast models are hinting at triple digit heat by the end of next week.
