Minus the off chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm in the mountains on Thursday we can expect sunny skies with temperatures in the low 90s in the valley.  The forecast models are picking up on just enough instability over the Northstate on Friday that will give the mountains a better chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms.  We may even see a few of those showers make it into the Redding area, however, since the atmosphere will be fairly dry it will be difficult to see any activity in the valley.

Temperatures throughout the weekend will be in the low to mid 90s with a slight cooling trend as we go through next week and we should be back down to the 80s by Tuesday and Wednesday.
