The main area of low pressure responsible for the thunderstorms we've seen the last few days has moved out. There is now a trough of low pressure approaching the Pacific Northwest giving us added cloud cover and cooler temperatures. The trough will move through on Wednesday and some of the forecast models dig it deep enough to bring a few showers to Redding. However, the showers will most likely stay to the north into Northern Shasta, Siskiyou and Modoc Counties. It will also be on the mild side Wednesday with highs in the mid 80s.
Starting Thursday it's expected to warm up as we approach the weekend and we should be back to the mid to upper 90s by the weekend.
