CAL FIRE crews battle Bella Vista fire #firstlook

BELLA VISTA, Calif. - A wildfire destroyed one building and threatened more homes in Bella Vista Wednesday.

According to CAL FIRE a 150 acre wildfire was burning near Deschutes Road and Highway 299. The fire was 80 percent contained at the time of this writing and forward progress stopped. The estimated time of containment is 8:30 p.m.

Highway 299 was closed to all traffic east of Oak Knolls Road. No evacuations were ordered.

CAL FIRE said there was originally two fires, the smaller of the two was contained quickly.

Officials have determined the fire was human caused but they are still investigating the exact cause.
